We danced between two poles of light,
One hue crossing the other,
One particle referencing the other,
We flowed between two abstracts of light,
Lost forever, in an ever-floating night,
The background of buildings appeared in the foreground,
Monolith and lonely,
Apartment buildings to missing persons,
Trapped in all of that light,
Rooms dead and still,
Mannequin like living out their daily activities,
We swam between opposing buildings,
And the light from them danced around us,
And created two opposing lights that crossed one another randomly,
We swam in the light,
Basking in the color of artificial night,
I looked below me,
Obscured in fog and clouds,
A void beneath me,
Above another light,
A void above me,
I screamed for you there in the void,
And looked out further away,
Lights that continued onward,
Inward my being flooded with the presence of the void,
Looking at my palms,
The light flooded in,
I looked through the mirror of light,
You were still there,
Swimming opposite of me,
But our paths crossing just the same,
You looking at your palms,
Perhaps my light flooded in,
I continue swimming,
We continue swimming,
Your visage is imprinted across the light,
We continue swimming,
Opposite one another,
But floating towards one another just the same,
You invade my dreams,
Perhaps I invade yours,
And perhaps we are both looking out at the endless void,
Screaming for one another,
For the light to continue emanating,
As a way to guide the night into continuance.

From the depths, under the sea of radio waves comes Room 208’s unmistakable sound. Their sound is a swirl of synthwave, epic proportions of electronica, and a deep love of downtempo. Through the dark shines the light, and in the light lies the dark. A perfect balance that Room 208 seems to find with ease.

Zuwe is a musician from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He has been producing and releasing electronic music under a variety of aliases over the last ten years. The project Zuwe was started in 2019 after discovering the vast possibilities for experimentation in the vaporwave scene. Zuwe’s music is primarily centered around ambient soundscapes and field recordings. His goal is to create immersive sound environments that allow the listener to experience a world built by the music.
